
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s Neom injected investments worth more than SAR 2.5 billion into foreign companies, with a main focus on mobility technology, Rayan Fayez, Deputy CEO of Neom, revealed during the World Economic Forum (WEF) Special Meeting on Global Collaboration, Growth, and Energy for Development.
In a panel session titled ‘Open Forum: Cracking the Code to Smarter Cities’, Fayez stated that Neom invested in China’s Pony.ai, Germany’s Volocopter, and the British hydrogen-electric aircraft developer ZeroAvia.
Along with mobility, Neom invested in the global mobile games developer Animoca, in addition to other companies in various sectors such as blockchain technologies and food industries.
The WEF special meeting took place in Riyadh with the participation of more than 1,000 world leaders from all sectors and industries.
