EEA teams up with Mappable to support logistics SMEs

Emirates Entrepreneurship Association partnered with Mappable to empower logistics SMEs with advanced mapping solutions

Dubai - Sharikat Mubasher: Emirates Entrepreneurship Association (EEA) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Mappable, a leading provider of customizable mapping solutions, to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and enhance business flexibility in the UAE, a recent statement revealed.

This partnership came as part of EEA’s continuous efforts to foster Emirati entrepreneurs and empower SMEs.

Jassem Al Shikar, Secretary General of the EEA, affirmed the association’s dedication to forge promising partnerships that support SMEs and bolster the national entrepreneurial ecosystem.

For his part, Abdullah Mohamad, CCO of Mappable for the GCC Region, stated that the partnership with the EEA will allow the company to empower entrepreneurs with cutting-edge mapping and geospatial solutions while increasing their competitiveness in sectors that need advanced mapping and navigation technologies, such as delivery and logistics services.

Mappable provides cutting-edge mapping, geospatial, and navigation technologies to meet the diverse business needs of e-commerce platforms, retail chains, logistics and delivery firms, manufacturing enterprises, ride-tech and food-tech companies, and telecommunications corporations.

ECC to open its first $13.3mn factory in Saudi Arabia in August
Egyptian Company for Cosmetics (ECC), a leading cosmetics developer and manufacturer, plans to open its first factory in Saudi Arabia, worth SAR 50 million (around $13.3 million), next August.The factory, designed to manufacture cosmetics and personal care products, will be established in partnership with Lorax Capital, Mohammed Salah, CEO and Founder of EEC, stated in an interview with Asharq Business.EEC is considering listing its shares on Tadawul within the next three years to enhance its growth and regional expansion.Additionally, the company plans to invest over EGP 2 billion (nearly $40 million) in the Egyptian market over the next three years, as part of its investment strategy, which includes establishing a new packaging factory and another for dietary supplements.Salah revealed that EEC is set to invest EGP 750 million in the local market in 2026, representing a 50% increase from EGP 500 million in 2025.ECC provides world-class services, focusing on personal care, cosmetics, and cosmeceutical markets. It uses proven formulas with the finest active ingredients to deliver exceptional solutions for its clients.
Almosafer expands its presence with new branch in Jazan
