Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Arabia is gearing up to host Black Hat Middle East and Africa (Black Hat MEA), the world’s most-attended cybersecurity event, from 26 to 28 November at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center.
Over 300 speakers and 450 exhibitors will participate in the event which will feature 350 workshops, a recent statement unveiled.
The speakers list includes Umer Khan, CIO and SVP of Software at Relativity Space, Susan Chiang, Chief Information Security Officer at Headway, Tony Watson, Chief Information Security Officer at Groq, Ugo Vignolo Lutati, Group Chief Information Security Officer at Prada Group, Lori Wade, Chief Data Officer at US Intelligence Community, and more.
The event will feature the Executive Summit, Black Hat MEA Arsenal, and the Business Hall, in addition to several trainings and briefings.
Chairman of the Saudi Federation for Cyber Security and Programming (SAFCSP) Faisal Al-khamissi stated that hosting Balck Hat MEA in Saudi Arabia reflects the Kingdom’s ambitions to become a leader in the cybersecurity field, in alignment with Vision 2030’s goals.
He emphasized the Kingdom’s commitment to promoting a secure digital environment that supports global collaboration in cybersecurity, fosters innovation, and improves competencies through hosting international events and conferences such as Black Hat MEA.
Organized by Tahaluf, a strategic alliance between Informa PLC, SAFCSP, and the Events Investment Fund (EIF), Black Hat MEA will gather cybersecurity professionals, cutting-edge technologies, solution providers, and decision-makers from around the world, connecting exhibitors with the right cyber professionals in the buying cycle.
