Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Hevolution Foundation, a non-profit organization based in Riyadh, plans to invest in Saudi biotech companies as part of its mission to extend healthy human lifespans, according to Khaldoun Alromaih, Science Executive Director at Hevolution Foundation.
This initiative aligns with the foundation’s decision to allocate SAR 1.5 billion to promote global transformative innovations and empower entrepreneurs who are dedicated to advancing the science of aging, Alromaih stated in an interview with Al Eqtisadiah newspaper.
He highlighted that the foundation has supported 250 global projects, 25 of which are based in Saudi Arabia.
Hevolution Foundation is the first non-profit to pursue age-related therapeutic breakthroughs with a commitment to funding global scientific discovery and investing in private companies and entrepreneurs.
It aims to democratize science and knowledge, by creating partnerships, offering grants, and making investments in the longevity space.
