Saudi Arabia set to host the Big 5 Construct expo on 15 February

The event will feature dedicated sectors, over 2,000 exhibitors, and 100+ expert-led sessions

Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: The 2025 edition of Big 5 Construct Saudi will expand to a two-week format, reflecting the rapid growth of Saudi Arabia's construction sector and the impact of Vision 2030.

Organizers have increased exhibition space and added specialized sectors and events to accommodate the rising demand for networking and business development opportunities.

In an exclusive interview with Gulf Construction, Firas Abou Ltaif, Portfolio Director – Construction at dmg events said that the first week, from February 15-18, will focus on "Strong Foundations: From Design to Build," covering key areas like heavy construction, concrete, HVAC, and general contracting.

The second week, from February 24-27, will explore "Transforming Projects: From Fit-Out to Services," with emphasis on windows, doors, facades, urban planning, and facilities management. This expanded format is designed to cater to specific sectors, ensuring a more targeted experience for exhibitors and attendees.

The 2025 event will be the largest in its history, covering 140,000 sq m, double the size of previous editions, and will feature over 2,000 exhibitors from over 60 countries. New additions include Totally Concrete Saudi Arabia and Heavy Saudi Arabia in the first week, focusing on precast concrete solutions and heavy machinery, respectively. The second week introduces Urban Design & Landscape Saudi Arabia, which is dedicated to urban planning and sustainable landscape solutions.

More than 100 expert-led Big 5 Talks sessions will cover topics such as digital transformation, sustainability, and project management. Additional attractions include hands-on competitions like the Concrete Dash Block and the Vetrotech GlassSmash Challenge, offering visitors interactive opportunities and prizes. The Architects’ Club will also provide networking and growth opportunities for top architects.

Big 5 Construct Saudi 2025 promises to be a critical event for the construction industry, offering unmatched opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and learning.

Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi construction technology (contech) company, BRKZ, secured up to $30 million in growth debt from Stride Ventures to solidify its position in the Saudi building materials market.The new capital will help BRKZ continue investing in AI-driven procurement tools, expanding its flexible payment enablement suite, and growing its supplier network across Saudi Arabia and international markets, the company announced in a press release today.This growth debt follows BRKZ’s earlier equity rounds totaling $22.5 million, with the latest round fully covered by several investors, including BECO, BNVT Capital, Better Tomorrow Ventures, and Wa’ed Ventures.Ibrahim Manna, Founder and CEO of BRKZ, stated that the growth debt facility will strengthen the company’s ability to support contractors and factories with more flexible payment and financing enablement options across the Saudi building materials market. “It allows us to further expand our tailored embedded financing ecosystem, helping customers manage project cash flows more efficiently,” he added.In turn, Ishpreet Singh Gandhi, Founder and Managing Partner at Stride Ventures, commented: “This partnership reflects our commitment to the region’s entrepreneurial economy, with our GCC expansion set to deploy half a billion dollars across the region by 2026.”BRKZ will enhance cloud manufacturing models and supply/offtake arrangements to support the growth and resilience of factories and raw materials sourcing in the Kingdom.Founded in 2022, BRKZ addresses inefficiencies in construction procurement, such as fragmented supply chains, manual processes, and cash flow gaps faced by contractors and factories that slow down project execution and increase costs.
