
Dubai – Sharikat Mubasher: Dubai Land Department (DLD) partnered with REACH, a global real estate technology accelerator backed by the National Association of REALTORS, to launch REACH Middle East.
This initiative aims to attract emerging proptech firms, reinforcing Dubai's role as a hub for real estate innovation, as per a recent press release.
The partnership comes as DLD prepares to host PropTech Connect 2026, a major real estate technology conference expected to gather global industry leaders. The event will spotlight transformative technologies such as AI, blockchain, and big data, driving innovation in Dubai’s real estate sector.
Aligned with Dubai’s Real Estate Strategy 2033, the collaboration will promote investment in proptech startups and foster a tech-driven property market. DLD will support startups with regulatory guidance, facilitate pilot projects, and provide valuable market insights. REACH will manage startup selection, mentorship, and investor engagement while establishing a regional office in Dubai to strengthen its Middle East presence.
The agreement was signed by Marwan Ahmed Bin Ghalita, Director General of DLD, and Dave Garland, Managing Partner of REACH Ventures. Bin Ghalita emphasized that the partnership reflects DLD’s commitment to driving real estate innovation and ensuring Dubai remains a global leader in property investment. Garland highlighted the region's potential for growth and the opportunity to introduce advanced technologies to Dubai’s evolving real estate landscape.
