StartUp Bahrain, ordable/ partner to empower Bahraini SMEs

The alliance focuses on equipping startups with scalable tools for operational efficiency and financial management

Manama – Sharikat Mubasher: Bahrain’s leading startup platform, StartUp Bahrain, joined forces with ordable/, a cutting-edge business management platform, in a strategic partnership aimed at empowering small and medium enterprises (SMEs) across the Kingdom.

 Supported by the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), this collaboration seeks to enhance operational efficiency and drive digital growth for Bahraini entrepreneurs, according to a recent press release.

The partnership combines StartUp Bahrain’s expertise in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship with ordable/’s advanced technology solutions, which include point-of-sale (POS) systems, digital QR menus, booking systems, and e-commerce platforms. Together, the two entities aim to equip SMEs with the tools needed to optimize resource management, streamline operations, and improve financial oversight.

StartUp Bahrain has long been a cornerstone of the Kingdom’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, providing startups with access to resources, networks, and growth opportunities. Meanwhile, ordable/ addresses critical operational challenges faced by SMEs through its comprehensive suite of digital tools, such as online ordering, QR-based solutions, and event booking systems.

This collaboration underscores a shared commitment to advancing Bahrain’s digital transformation agenda by equipping local businesses with scalable, actionable solutions. By leveraging the strengths of both platforms, the partnership aims to empower Bahraini entrepreneurs to overcome real-world business challenges and thrive in an increasingly digital economy.

Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi-based financing firm EDGE Finance Company announced it has obtained an official license from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) to provide consumer financing and financing for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Kingdom.The announcement was shared by the company on LinkedIn, describing the license as a new step toward expanding its role in Saudi Arabia’s financial services sector. The company said the approval reflects its commitment to supporting financial inclusion and strengthening the flexibility of financial transactions in the Kingdom.With the license, EDGE Finance will be able to offer a range of financing solutions aimed at individuals and SMEs, sectors that play a key role in Saudi Arabia’s economic diversification and entrepreneurship ecosystem. The firm indicated that it aims to deliver innovative financial products designed to meet the evolving needs of customers while aligning with the goals of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.EDGE Finance also noted that it seeks to become an active contributor to the Kingdom’s national financing ecosystem by supporting businesses and entrepreneurs with tailored financial solutions. The company said it plans to focus on providing flexible and accessible financing services that help clients grow while enhancing overall financial accessibility in the Saudi market.
