Applications open for Presight AI-startup Accelerator

Presight calls on startups to submit their applications to join the the six-month Presight AI-Startup Accelerator

Abu Dhabi - Sharikat Mubasher: Presight, a leading global big data analytics company powered by artificial intelligence (AI), called on startups around the world to submit their applications to join the six-month Presight AI-Startup Accelerator. The applications will close on 10 April.

According to the company’s statement, this global accelerator will serve as a launchpad for AI startups ready to accelerate their growth. It is designed to scale their solutions by turning breakthrough AI products into market-leading solutions.

The Presight AI-Startup Accelerator will provide exclusive access to the UAE market and G24’s global network, mentorship from AI and industry leaders, and access to venture capital funding, in addition to integration into Presight’s AI ecosystem across 15 markets in MEA, Europe Central Asia and Southeast Asia.

Participating startups will get up to $150,000 in credits for AI computes and $50,000 cash support for UAE operations.

Thomas Pramotedham, CEO of Presight, said: “We launched the Presight AI-Startup Accelerator to invest in cutting-edge AI innovations, rapidly scale them using our expertise and infrastructure, and maximize shareholder value by integrating these innovations into our products and solutions.”

The program targets AI-driven businesses in public services, energy, finance, smart cities, and deep-tech and AI startups beyond the prototype stage with early sales traction.

“Through the Presight AI-Startup Accelerator, we will build a portfolio of world-leading AI companies more quickly, effectively, and impactfully than through acquisitions, R&D, or other conventional strategies,” Pramotedham said.

He emphasized Presight’s dedication to empowering founders with the resources and connections needed to turn breakthrough AI products into market-leading solutions that drive real impact.

The Presight AI-Startup Accelerator represents a great opportunity for startups to scale with the best, backed by world-class AI infrastructure, mentorship, and funding.

Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The latest Future of Trade report released by Standard Chartered, titled Navigating an Age of Structural Uncertainty’, found that two-thirds of Saudi businesses see AI and advanced analytics as a key transformational force for advancing trade.According to the official statement released today, the study surveyed 2,100 senior corporate decision-makers across 27 markets. It revealed that Saudi businesses assign greater importance than the global average to all five technology trends assessed.Cloud infrastructure and data integration lead at 76%, compared with 70% globally, followed by AI and advanced analytics at 64%. Automation and robotics are identified by 63% of respondents, compared with 52% globally, while 57% cite digital trade platforms and ecosystems and 55% cite blockchain and digital assets.90% of Saudi businesses report early-stage or mature implementation of cybersecurity and risk management, compared with 84% globally. Additionally, automated payments and collections have reached early-stage or mature implementation among 77% of respondents, while the corresponding figure for real-time cash visibility is 70%. Syed Zaeem, managing director and head of trade and transactional banking for the Middle East, Pakistan and Africa at Standard Chartered, commented: “Saudi businesses are placing technology at the centre of their trade strategies. The strong emphasis on artificial intelligence, cloud infrastructure and automation reflects a clear focus on improving decision-making, increasing efficiency and building the capabilities required to compete across international markets. As trade becomes increasingly digital, these investments will help businesses respond faster and capture opportunities across global growth corridors.”Looking ahead, respondents remained focused on strengthening the digital infrastructure supporting trade, with 57% of Saudi businesses planning to invest in digital supply chain finance platforms over the next three to five years.
