In partnership with Falak, the program backs female-led startups with funding, mentorship, and regional support

Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Standard Chartered launched the third edition of its ‘Women in Tech’ accelerator in Saudi Arabia, in partnership with Falak Investment Hub.

The program, now open for applications, aims to support women-led and women-founded startups offering bold, tech-driven solutions across industries, as per a recent press release.

Part of the Bank’s global ‘Futuremakers’ initiative, the 2025 edition runs under the theme “Innovate. Lead. Inspire.”, celebrating Saudi women’s leadership in tech and inviting a new generation of female entrepreneurs to join the movement.

Backed locally by Falak and globally by Standard Chartered, the 8-week accelerator offers masterclasses, mentorship, advisory support, and access to investment networks. The top three startups will receive equity-free grants totaling USD 45,000.

Mazen Bunyan, CEO of Standard Chartered Saudi Arabia, reaffirmed the Bank’s commitment to inclusive growth, saying: “Empowering diverse talent creates better outcomes for communities and economies alike.”

Previous cohorts have produced standout startups such as Chefaa, Afsih, AVA, and Tarkeez, which continue to grow in sectors from healthtech to fintech.

Applications are open until 27 June, 2025, with the program set to begin in early July.
