Dubai – Sharikat Mubasher: Abu Dhabi’s Technology Innovation Institute (TII) and AI company AI71 joined forces with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to expand global access to advanced AI models and solutions developed in the UAE.

As per an official press release, the collaboration leverages TII’s expertise in large language models (LLMs), AI71’s development of AI agents, and AWS’s cloud-based AI infrastructure.

TII currently offers its Falcon series of LLMs through Amazon SageMaker, with plans to make newer models available on the Amazon Bedrock Marketplace. The Falcon models have gained global recognition for their performance and scalability, allowing enterprises and developers to integrate AI capabilities via pay-as-you-go APIs without heavy computational demands.

AI71’s AI-driven enterprise products, aimed at enabling selective automation across industries, are already accessible via the AWS Marketplace. The company will collaborate with AWS to accelerate product development through rapid prototyping and early access to new technologies.

The partnership also focuses on advancing AI privacy and cybersecurity tools. TII’s privacy solution, PetalGuard, designed to enhance data protection, will be added to the AWS Marketplace to help organizations adopt privacy-first technologies globally. Furthermore, TII and AWS plan to cooperate on cryptographic research, including fully homomorphic encryption and multi-party computation, to enhance secure AI machine learning.

The three organizations aim to foster product innovation, expand their global reach, and develop AI talent by strengthening AI71’s training programs with AWS-supported executive certifications.

Najwa Aaraj, TII’s CEO, highlighted the institute’s commitment to bridging cutting-edge research and practical applications while advancing privacy-preserving machine learning frameworks. Chiara Marcati, AI71’s Chief AI Advisory and Business Officer, emphasized the partnership’s role in accelerating AI innovation and scaling products internationally. Meanwhile, Tanuja Randery, AWS Vice President for EMEA, stated that the collaboration empowers customers to build AI applications across multiple sectors while maintaining data control.

By making Falcon models available through Amazon Bedrock, the partners are providing customers with flexible, secure, and high-performance AI tools, positioning the UAE as a leader in global AI innovation.
