SPAR Saudi Arabia opened a new flagship SPAR Express store at KAFD Metro Station in King Abdullah Financial District

Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: SPAR Saudi Arabia, a subsidiary of the leading food retail chain SPAR International, opened a new flagship SPAR Express store at KAFD Metro Station in King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD).

This milestone came as part of SPAR Saudi Arabia’s new strategy to enhance retail convenience in key urban hubs, the company announced in a recent press release.

A focus of this 24/7 store comes from the SPAR Bakery brand, which provides a variety of goods for customers who are on the move. The SPAR Bakery offers freshly brewed café, hot and cold beverages, and dedicated food-to-go offerings to meet the daily needs of commuters, working professionals, and visitors passing through the station.

SPAR Saudi Arabia also opened the second SPAR Express store at the National Guard Hospital, and will continue to open new SPAR Express locations across the region over the coming period in other high-footfall locations.

SPAR Saudi Arabia utilizes best practices from across the international SPAR network to evolve into the foodvenience segment.

The licence to operate the SPAR brand in Saudi Arabia was granted by SPAR International to the AlSadhan Group in 2016. SPAR Saudi Arabia offers a world-class shopping experience to consumers, building on the company’s extensive FMCG credentials in the market and tapping into SPAR International’s expertise in modern food retailing when developing its retail strategy.
