
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: GymNation, a renowned gym chain in the Middle East, opened a new headquarters in Riyadh and announced several senior hires to expand its footprint in the GCC region.
These milestones enhance GymNation’s position as a regional fitness leader and reinforce its mission to make fitness more affordable, accessible, and inclusive, the company stated in a recent press release.
The new team member boasts expertise in several areas, notably marketing, finance, partnerships, business development, and construction.
GymNation has appointed Rory McEntee as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Rob MacTighearnain as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Sophie Hamilton-McEntee will serve as Head of Corporate Sales, while Samy Al Aaser has been named Projects Director.
The Riyadh office team will be led by Colin Carter, Director of Property and Acquisitions, and will oversee new property acquisitions in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Qatar.
Loren Holland, Founder and CEO of GymNation, stated that the launch of the Riyadh headquarters marks a pivotal step in the brand’s regional expansion strategy. He revealed that GymNation will open its first Riyadh gym in Qurtubah District on 20 June, which already has 7,000 founding members signed up.
This strong demand underscores the need for accessible, high-quality, and affordable fitness facilities in Saudi Arabia and beyond.
GymNation serves over 120,000 members across 14 gyms in the UAE and eight in Saudi Arabia. It plans to open 30 additional locations by 2025 to become the GCC’s largest gym chain.
