Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi startup Governata has officially launched as the Kingdom’s first AI-driven enterprise Data Management Platform, offering advanced data governance solutions tailored for both public and private sectors.
According to the company’s press release, the platform's first product is a pioneering, Arabic-language data governance software designed specifically for local compliance with national data regulations, while leveraging machine learning and Generative AI to support smarter decision-making.
Governata stands out as the first and only Saudi-made solution fully aligned with the requirements of the National Data Management Office (NDMO), National Data Index (NDI), and Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL). It enables organizations to monitor compliance, safeguard personal data, and streamline data classification, laying the groundwork for responsible AI adoption.
Backed by a seasoned founding team—Djamel Mohand, Jehad Senan, and Khalid Almudayfir—Governata aims to become a core pillar in Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 digital transformation by turning regulatory compliance into a competitive advantage.
The platform includes features such as automated compliance tracking, personal data protection, intuitive Arabic interfaces, and full integration with cloud or on-premise environments. Governata is also collaborating with regional advisory firms and global system integrators to roll out its tools at scale across the Kingdom and beyond.
With future plans to introduce a unified AI-powered enterprise decision-making platform for the MENA region, Governata is positioning itself as a key enabler of digital trust, data quality, and scalable innovation in the age of AI.
