Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Under the patronage of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources will host the fifth Future Minerals Forum (FMF 2026) in Riyadh from 13 to 15 January 2026, under the theme “Dawn of a Global Cause.”
Minister Bandar Alkhorayef said the event will strengthen Saudi Arabia’s role as a global leader in shaping the future of mining and promoting responsible supply chains. He described the forum as a “collective call to action” to secure the minerals needed for a new era of global development and stability, with a focus on Africa, Latin America, and Asia.
FMF 2026 will center on three priorities: creating financing models to develop seven key mineral corridors, building capacity through a global network of Centers of Excellence, and piloting a traceability system for supply-chain transparency.
The accompanying Ministerial Roundtable is expected to build on last year’s gathering of representatives from over 90 countries and 50 international organizations, which produced initiatives such as a global framework for critical minerals and a network of regional excellence centers.
