Cairo - Sharikat Mubasher: Creativa Innovation Hubs, a national initiative launched by Egypt’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), announced the launch of the ‘Tech Launchpad’ program to accelerate the growth of tech startups in early and pre-seed stages.
In a recent statement, the ministry revealed that the program aims to empower entrepreneurs to develop innovative solutions, transform their ideas into successful projects capable of competing globally, meet local market needs, and drive economic growth.
Organized by MCIT in partnership with the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) and the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC), the program will be implemented in several governorates and cities across Egypt.
This initiative underscores the ministry’s commitment to reach as many entrepreneurs as possible for maximum impact and follows a comprehensive training approach that focuses on enhancing the technology entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Participants will be able to develop a full-scale business plan, marketing strategy, financial management plan, and an investor-ready pitch deck, supported by specialized one-on-one mentoring sessions.
The Tech Launchpad includes 11 training sessions covering various topics, including the fundamentals of establishing and scaling startups, market research, digital marketing, operation planning, the fundamentals of finance, and effective pitching. It targets tech-enabled startups that offer innovative, impactful solutions to address challenges in the local market, with at least two founders based in Egypt.
