
Riyadh - Exclusive Sharikat Mubasher: Wateer, a leading Saudi digital platform transforming customer experience through interactive digital receipts, has successfully handled 25 million digital receipts and processed transactions worth SAR 3 billion since its launch in 2023, Founder and Chief Executive Officer Majid Alharbi stated in an interview with Sharikat Mubasher.
Speaking on the sidelines of Biban 2025, Alharbi explained that Wateer was established within one of the business accelerators launched by the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha’at) and currently operates in 18 regions across the Kingdom.
He noted that the company has delivered 1 million digital receipts during its first year, reflecting the growing demand for digital receipts in Saudi Arabia.
Alharbi highlighted that Wateer won the "Into New Worlds" Award at LEAP 2024 and received the "Ebtker" award from Monsha’at.
He further emphasized the company’s efforts to expand the reach of its digital solutions, backed by government entities, ultimately empowering more merchants and consumers to benefit from the digital transformation in the financial services sector.

Biban 2025 took place in Riyadh from 5 to 8 November, gathering startup founders, investors, global CEOs, policymakers, and thought leaders.
