Collaboration includes innovation labs, specialist training, and international knowledge exchange

Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Cyberani by Aramco Digital and KPMG Middle East entered a strategic partnership to advance Saudi Arabia’s capabilities in cybersecurity and Operational Technology protection.

The collaboration was unveiled at Black Hat 2025, underscoring the Kingdom’s growing role in shaping global cyber resilience.

As per a recent press release, the partnership aims to enhance OT and IT security across key sectors including energy, water, aviation, and manufacturing. Both sides will build new innovation hubs, including a Digital Twin and Simulation Lab designed to model industrial environments and detect vulnerabilities before they emerge.

Developing Saudi talent is a central focus. Over the next three years, Cyberani and KPMG will train 100 Saudi specialists in OT cybersecurity and launch a Women in OT Security initiative. An international exchange program will allow Saudi professionals to gain hands-on experience in KPMG’s global offices. The partners will also organize executive roundtables, industry forums, and a National OT Security Conference.

Tariq Albassam, Cyberani’s Chief Strategy Officer, said the collaboration will help build next-generation cyber resilience for the Kingdom, while Hossain Alshedoki, Partner and Global Head of OT and IoT at KPMG Middle East, said the initiative reflects Vision 2030’s ambition to combine national capability with global expertise.
