Energy, health, and culinary academies join forces to equip young Saudis with market-ready skills

Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) signed three major agreements worth SAR 324 million to train and prepare 2,191 job seekers across the Kingdom.

The deals were finalized with the Energy and Water Academy (EWA), the Health Academy, and ZADK Culinary Academy, marking a new step in strengthening vocational training pathways for Saudi youth.

The partnerships focus on equipping young Saudis with specialized, in-demand skills that match the evolving needs of the labor market in sectors such as energy, healthcare, and culinary arts. By expanding professional development programs, HRDF aims to improve employability outcomes and support the country's broader workforce development goals under Vision 2030.

The agreements were signed during the Development Finance Conference (MOMENTUM 2025) in Riyadh, attended by senior officials from HRDF and the leadership of the three academies.

The Fund emphasized that these initiatives will help job seekers gain practical competencies and secure better employment opportunities in high-growth industries.
