Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: The Special Integrated Logistics Zone Company (SILZ), developer and operator of Saudi Arabia’s first Special Integrated Logistics Zone, Riyadh Integrated, signed a strategic agreement with Rotortrade to launch Helipark, a comprehensive helicopter services hub within the zone.
As per a recent press release, Rotortrade will operate across a 20,000 square meter dedicated area, developing hangars, workshops, and helipads to provide end-to-end services, including aircraft sales, management, maintenance, complex modifications, and parts logistics under this agreement. Helipark aims to become the region’s leading one-stop destination for helicopter services.
Fadi Al-Buhairan, CEO of SILZ, said the project will diversify Riyadh Integrated’s offerings, enhance Saudi Arabia’s aviation and logistics capabilities, support localization of technical expertise, create specialized jobs, and contribute to Saudi Vision 2030’s National Transport and Logistics Strategy.
Philippe Lubrano, CEO of Rotortrade, described Helipark as a destination for clients, combining aircraft access, premium hospitality, and comprehensive services under one roof, reinforcing the company’s ambition to become a global helicopter industry leader.
The Helipark will provide aircraft sales and management, MRO (maintenance and repair operations), and specialized customization services, including parts-out functions to recycle retired aircraft. Initial operations are expected to begin shortly, leveraging SILZ’s regulatory and tax-free zone advantages while fostering Saudi talent development and domestic aviation capabilities.
