Existing commercial registrations in Saudi Arabia surpass 1.8 mn in Q4-25

The total number of existing commercial registrations in Saudi Arabia surpassed 1.86 million in Q4-25

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Commerce (MoC) is a key driver in achieving Vision 2030’s goal of economic diversification. To achieve this goal, the ministry focuses on simplifying and modernizing the process for obtaining and maintaining commercial registers.

In its latest report, the ministry revealed that the total number of existing commercial registrations in the Kingdom surpassed 1.86 million in the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2025, marking a 4.2% increase from 1.7 million in Q3-25. 

The ministry also issued 123,000 new commercial registrations in Q4-25, with female-owned organizations accounting for 48% of the total number. Riyadh, Makkah, and the Eastern provinces represented 69% of registrations issued in Q4-25.

Riyadh led the list with 45,623 registrations, followed by the Eastern Province with 20,087 registrations, and Makkah Province with 19,218 registrations. Al Qassim Province and Asser Province came in fourth and fifth place, with 8,613 and 5,017 registrations, respectively.

The construction sector accounted for the largest share, with 66,007 commercial registrations, representing 53% of the total number, followed by the wholesale and retail sector, which obtained 24,997 registrations in Q4-25, approximately 20% of the total issued registrations.

This aligns with Rawajeh Group’s approach towards investing in entities capable of achieving balanced and sustainable growth.Aqeel Alrajhi, CEO of Rawajeh Group, stated that the investment reflects the group’s confidence in Khwarizmi Holding’s robust business model and its ability to manage specialized investments in private markets efficiently.For his part, Ibrahim Almojel, Founding Partner at Khwarizmi Holding, affirmed that the partnership will help the company accelerate the execution of its investment strategy that focuses on building specialized platforms in private markets and developing diverse investment products that meet the expectations of institutional investors.Moreover, this collaboration reflects the shared vision of both entities to build an investment ecosystem that is based on integration and added value.
