Dubai – Sharikat Mubasher: botim money announced a strategic partnership with Mastercard to expand its international remittance services, allowing users in the UAE to send money to more than 150 countries directly through the botim app.
As per a recent press release, the integration enables transfers to bank accounts, mobile wallets, or cash pickup locations, depending on the destination market. The move strengthens botim money’s push to embed financial services into its communication platform and deliver faster, more accessible cross-border payments.
Tariq Bin Hendi, Board Member of Astra Tech and CEO of botim, said the partnership supports botim’s mission to unify communication and finance within a single ecosystem, while making money transfers faster, safer, and more inclusive, particularly for users with limited access to traditional financial services.
Gina Petersen-Skyrme, Country Manager for UAE and Oman at Mastercard, said cross-border payments are a critical lifeline for expatriates in markets such as the UAE, adding that the collaboration aims to provide fast, secure, and affordable international transfers while advancing financial inclusion.
The partnership combines Mastercard’s global payments infrastructure with botim’s growing financial ecosystem, allowing users to complete international transfers without leaving the app. Licensed by the Central Bank of the UAE, botim money continues to expand its range of financial services, including remittances, prepaid cards, bill payments, credit, and salary disbursement tools.
