Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Neo Space Group (NSG), a Public Investment Fund company and Saudi Arabia’s leading commercial space services provider, has partnered with Riyadh Air to equip the airline’s Airbus A321 fleet with NSG Skywaves, its advanced in-flight connectivity solution.
The agreement will enable high-speed onboard internet of up to 300 Mbps, allowing passengers to stream, browse, message, and work in-flight. The move supports Riyadh Air’s ambition to operate as the world’s first digitally native airline, with a focus on seamless and personalized passenger experiences.
Powered by NSG Skywaves, the service will use HBC+ hardware and the Thinkom Ka2517 antenna, which is already deployed on more than 1,700 aircraft worldwide. The solution leverages SES’s Open Orbits network to deliver low-latency, reliable broadband connectivity.
Riyadh Air is expected to receive its first Airbus A321 aircraft in the fourth quarter of 2026, with Sfeer loyalty program members set to receive complimentary Wi-Fi. The partnership
