Siemens opens new office in Saudi Arabia to accelerate digital transformation

Siemens opened its first Siemens Digital Industries Software office in Saudi Arabia to accelerate digital transformation

Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Global industrial technology company Siemens announced the launch of its first Siemens Digital Industries Software office in Saudi Arabia to accelerate digital transformation in the Kingdom.

The new office will enable Siemens Digital Industries Software to provide enhanced local support, foster innovation, and deepen its collaboration with customers and partners across the region, the company announced in a press release yesterday.

The office will also streamline operations, facilitate direct transactions within the Kingdom, and provide on-the-ground support, aligning with local commercial and regulatory processes.

Siemens Digital Industries Software will empower industrial digitalization across various sectors, including design, simulation, manufacturing operations, and data platforms, directly contributing to the productivity, quality, and sustainability outcomes prioritized by Vision 2030.

Cobus Oosthuizen, Vice President and Managing Director for Middle East and Africa at Siemens Digital Industries Software, commented: “This move brings us closer to our customers such as CEER, Aramco, SABIC, and SAMI, and talent, enabling us to contribute more directly to the Kingdom's digital transformation journey.”

Through its local presence, Siemens will co-innovate with customers, partners, and academia to accelerate skills development and innovation within Saudi Arabia.

Lahint unveils infrastructure to automate government services for businesses
Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Lahint, a Saudi GovTech company specializing in AI-powered government technology solutions, announced it has completed a unified digital execution infrastructure that enables the fully automated delivery of government services.As per the company’s press release, this infrastructure is powered by official execution APIs and strategic partnerships with eight national and private platforms, including six government-focused platforms serving the business sector. The company said the integration positions Lahint among the first Saudi private technology firms to build a unified execution platform for automated government services.Using this infrastructure, Lahint has launched the first phase of its Government Services Automation Program, introducing 10 fully automated social insurance services for businesses. The services use artificial intelligence, voice interaction, and intelligent workflows to streamline procedures and improve processing times.Lahint plans to expand the program with more than 20 additional automated services before the end of 2026, followed by a third phase that will increase the portfolio to more than 50 automated government services for businesses.
