Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: AlBalad AlAmeen, the investment arm of the Holy Makkah Municipality, entered a strategic partnership with information technology company Sary to develop and operate a unified digital platform for organizing food supply chains in Makkah, a move aimed at strengthening operational readiness and ensuring reliable food services for the Hajj and Umrah sectors ahead of peak pilgrimage seasons.
As per a recent press release, the agreement, signed through AlBalad AlAmeen Technologies, will see the launch of an integrated digital ecosystem that enables suppliers and catering contractors to manage orders and deliveries within a structured framework. The platform will support real-time shipment tracking, inventory management, supply scheduling, data analytics, and performance reporting, helping improve governance, reduce waste, and ensure the continuity and quality of food supplies.
Hattan Tasji, Chief Executive Officer of AlBalad AlAmeen, indicated that the partnership aligns with the company’s strategy to develop specialized digital platforms that support critical sectors in the Holy Capital. He noted that the initiative reflects AlBalad AlAmeen’s role as the primary investment gateway for Makkah and represents a significant step toward enhancing the city’s preparedness for the Hajj and Umrah seasons, in line with Saudi Vision 2030, while elevating the overall pilgrim experience and quality of life.
