Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Egyptian investment firm LimeVest plans to establish a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Saudi Arabia with investments of up to $70 million, according to Chairman and Founder Sharif El Akhdar.
Speaking to Asharq Business, El Akhdar said the project will be developed through the company’s healthcare subsidiary, LimeVest Arabia Healthcare, with construction expected to begin later this year.
He noted that the investment decision was driven by the size of the Saudi market and the strong growth being recorded across the Kingdom’s healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.
Founded in 2017, LimeVest specializes in growth capital investments and focuses on healthcare companies in Egypt and Saudi Arabia. The firm also holds a 61% stake in Alexandria New Medical Center SAE, which it acquired in 2022.
