
Dubai - Sharikat Mubasher: Tamara, a leading fintech company in Saudi Arabia and the GCC region, announced a strategic partnership with the Department of Finance (DOF) for the Government of Dubai and Dubai Digital to revolutionize how residents of the UAE manage their governmental payments.
Tamara will integrate its innovative payment solutions into the services of entities like the Dubai Health Authority, Dubai Police, Dubai Municipality, Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai, and Road and Transport Authority to enhance accessibility and convenience for everyone, the company announced in a statement.
The signing ceremony was held on the sidelines of GITEX Global 2024 in the presence of prominent representatives from Tamara and senior officials from the Dubai Government.
The agreement underpins the shared commitment of all parties to providing seamless, flexible payment options for all, ensuring that everyone can engage with essential services effortlessly.
It is worth noting that DOF and Digital Dubai signed memoranda of understanding with several leading Emirati banks and prominent financial services companies during GITEX Global 2024, in a move towards advancing the digitalization of life and achieving the Dubai Cashless Strategy.
