Majd Saudi Payments obtains SAMA’s license to provide payment services

Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) granted Majd Saudi Payments Co. a license to provide its e-wallet solutions to the Saudi Market.

With Majd Saudi Payments, licensed fintech companies offering payment services in the Kingdom totaling 26, according to a statement issued by the central bank.

SAMA said this decision comes as part of its exerted efforts to support the payments sector, boost the efficiency of financial transactions, and promote innovative financial solutions for financial inclusion in Saudi Arabia.

SAMA also stressed the necessity of dealing exclusively with authorized financial institutions.
