
Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Akin, a leading global law firm providing innovative legal services and business solutions to clients worldwide, is set to expand its presence in Saudi Arabia with the launch of a new Riyadh office later this year, appointing Alexander Malahias to help lead the venture.
According to a recent press release, Malahias will initially be based in Akin’s Abu Dhabi office until the firm secures its license to operate in the Kingdom.
The Riyadh office is a key part of Akin’s long-term growth strategy, reflecting the firm’s commitment to serving Saudi Arabia’s rapidly evolving market. Malahias brings extensive experience advising clients on major projects across the Kingdom, including partnerships with Red Sea Global and NEOM. His background spans key sectors such as energy transition, large-scale tourism, real estate, oil and gas, petrochemicals, power, and infrastructure.
