
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Saudi Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services signed a trilateral agreement with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development and the Human Capability Development Program to launch the Skills Accelerator Initiative in the transport and logistics services sector.
The agreement was finalized on the sidelines of the Human Capability Initiative (HCI) conference in the presence of Rumaih AL-Rumaih, Vice Minister of Transport and Logistics Services, alongside senior officials from the respective entities, according to a recent statement by the ministry.
Under this partnership, the parties will collaborate to achieve the Skills Accelerator Initiative's general goals, develop sector-specific programs, and conduct research and studies to enhance human capabilities.
This collaboration will enable the Ministry of Transport to deliver an exceptional experience to beneficiaries, enhance responsibility and labor market efficiency through skilled talent development, and promote social responsibility.
Moreover, this partnership focuses on qualifying professionals in logistics-related fields, designing tailored training programs, and launching digital platforms to drive the sector’s progress.
The second edition of HCI, which took place on 13 and 14 April in Riyadh, hosted over 300 influential leaders, policymakers, and global experts from 40 countries, including academia, the private sector, international organizations, and non-profits. It saw over 100 agreements announced across industry and various economic sectors, with a total investment of SAR 8.5 billion.
