Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Kilow, a new Saudi digital health startup, officially launched its application, offering a science-backed weight loss program tailored to the lifestyles and health needs of people in the Kingdom.
The app brings together lifestyle coaching, health tracking, and access to modern medical treatments, including GLP-1 drugs like Ozempic and Wegovy, into one Arabic-language platform, according to a recent press release.
Fahed Al Essa, the founder, a seasoned entrepreneur with two decades in global healthcare and biotech, says Kilow was created with a personal mission: “This isn’t just another weight loss app,” said Al Essa. “It is built by people who understand the Saudi lifestyle and our health challenges. For me, Kilow is deeply personal. After years of struggling with my weight, I finally feel like I’ve found a solution that works, and I wanted to share that with others.”
The app is currently available only in Saudi Arabia, with plans to introduce additional languages and AI-powered meal tracking in future updates.
Kilow promises users a sustainable, personalized path to better health, combining expert medical support with practical, habit-building strategies.
