Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Aquivio, a global provider of smart hydration technologies, officially launched its operations in Saudi Arabia with a new office and showroom in Riyadh.

The expansion, supported by business growth platform AstroLabs, is part of Aquivio’s broader push to deliver sustainable, high-tech beverage solutions in alignment with Vision 2030 and the Kingdom’s Smart City ambitions, according to a recent press release.

Daniel Hill, CEO of Aquivio, commented: “Our entry into Saudi Arabia comes at a pivotal time, aligned with the Kingdom’s push for sustainable, inclusive development as well as its Smart City initiatives, which open up strong opportunities for growth. Our partnership with AstroLabs has been key in accelerating our expansion and deepening our local presence.”

The company, known for its IoT-powered hydration and beverage machines offering alkaline hydrogen water with customizable health add-ins, has also secured funding from local investors to establish a beverage factory producing exclusively Saudi-made drinks.

Alex Nicholls, Director of Expansion at AstroLabs, added: “We’re proud to support Aquivio as it brings its innovative hydration solutions to Saudi Arabia. With its drinking water treatment systems, Aquivio is well-positioned to contribute to the Kingdom’s sustainability goals and Vision 2030.”

As part of its local integration, Aquivio will collaborate with the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture through the “Sahabah” Program, designed to foster entrepreneurship in the national water sector.

Aquivio has already built visibility in the Kingdom through its participation in major events, including LEAP 2025, COP16 under the DCO, and Biban 2024. The company will also exhibit at the Future Hospitality Summit in Riyadh this May.

With Saudi Arabia’s beverage sector projected to reach $303.42 million by 2029, Aquivio aims to leverage its early mover advantage to become a key player in the country’s growing hydration market.
