Doha - Sharikat Mubasher: Nova, the European startup transforming the world of human resource tech, successfully closed a $3.65 million funding round led by investors CDP Venture Capital and BY Venture Partners, with participation from Doha Tech Angels (DTA), Qatar’s first and leading angel investment club.

This investment aligns perfectly with DTA’s strategic focus on young tech-driven firms that offer innovative solutions for the modern workplace, particularly startups geared towards highly skilled talent across global markets, a recent statement revealed.

Nova will utilize the new investment to expand into more major European cities, enhance its AI-based candidate matching algorithms, and bolster its business-focused product, 'Nova Recruiter'. This software presents employers with a powerful alternative to LinkedIn, aiming to refine and simplify recruitment.

Nova applies a highly selective "gatekeeping" mechanism, whereby only those who clear a strict qualification process can join their network, helping companies access top-notch candidates without the hassle of wading through hundreds of irrelevant CVs.
