Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Shahbandr, a leading Saudi e-commerce enabler, announced a partnership with Tamara, the region’s top Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) provider, to offer flexible payment options to over 18,000 online stores on its platform.
As per a recent press release, the collaboration will see Tamara’s BNPL services integrated into all Shahbandr-powered stores, aiming to enhance customer experience, improve conversion rates, and drive sales growth. Shahbandr will also collect service fees directly from Tamara, streamlining financial operations for merchants.
Shahbandr provides tools for merchants and entrepreneurs to enter e-commerce without technical expertise, including payment integrations, logistics solutions, and data analytics. The company recently launched Video Commerce as a built-in feature, allowing stores to sell through interactive video content and live streaming, a method shown to boost sales by up to fivefold.
The partnership is part of Shahbandr’s strategy to build an innovative and integrated digital commerce ecosystem in Saudi Arabia and the wider MENA region.
