Dubai – Sharikat Mubasher: Abu Dhabi’s Technology Innovation Institute (TII), the applied research arm of the Advanced Technology Research Council, has partnered with U.S.-based tech giant NVIDIA to launch the Middle East’s first joint laboratory for artificial intelligence and robotics.

As per a recent press release, the collaboration combines NVIDIA’s accelerated computing platforms with TII’s expertise in robotics and high-performance computing to drive innovation across industries.

Announced at a signing ceremony in Abu Dhabi, the TII–NVIDIA AI Technology Center will serve as a hub for next-generation AI models, humanoid robotics, and advanced autonomous systems.

The lab will focus on embodied AI, large language models—including TII’s Falcon AI family—and hardware for real-time robotic systems. It also marks NVIDIA’s first robotics-centered facility in the region, reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s ambition to become a global leader in applied AI and intelligent machines.
