Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Arabia signed a strategic partnership with the United States to advance artificial intelligence (AI) in the Kingdom, a move that cements Saudi Arabia’s position as a global player in shaping the economy of the future.

According to a recent statement by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), the partnership aims to enable and provide advanced graphics processing units (GPUs) and build AI infrastructure and data centers across the Kingdom.

Both countries will collaborate to expand joint research and development in AI and facilitate knowledge transfer.

This partnership launches a new generation of ultra-fast processors, accelerates the development of advanced infrastructure, and propels the evolution of large language models.

Moreover, the collaboration is built on Saudi Arabia’s competitive advantages, notably its leadership in the energy sector, strategic geographic location, and its abundant land suitable for building hyperscale data centers.
