Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Qassim University announced the launch of its fifth edition of the Innovation Incubator, a national initiative aimed at fostering competition, elevating the quality of innovative ideas, and transforming them into economically promising ventures. As per the university’s press release, the program supports the Kingdom’s entrepreneurship ecosystem and aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 by promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and intellectual property development.

Open to university students, graduates, researchers, and aspiring entrepreneurs, the incubator offers a structured journey that includes hackathons, intensive training camps, expert workshops, and mentoring sessions designed to help participants refine their ideas and build viable business models.

The program features two main tracks: an innovation pathway focused on supporting early-stage ideas and a challenge track targeting real-world national priorities, including human health, environmental sustainability, energy and industrial leadership, and future economic sectors.

The incubator’s timeline kicks off with a hackathon in May 2026, followed by a training camp in July, a project evaluation phase in August, and concludes with an innovation expo in September, where standout projects will be showcased.

Participation is free, and selected teams will benefit from training, financial incentives, digital tools, and connections with national programs and private sector partners aimed at accelerating their transition from idea to startup.
