Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: RLDatix, a global leader in safety, workforce and data solutions for healthcare systems, today announced a significant expansion of its footprint across the Middle East Region. Over the past two years, RLDatix has deepened its presence across the region through agreements with government health authorities, defense health services and major healthcare organizations to support national priorities in patient safety, digital transformation and clinical governance.

Expanding Across the Region: Key Partnerships and Milestones

RLDatix's growth across the Middle East reflects the region's accelerating commitment to patient safety and healthcare quality as a strategic national priority. Over the past two years, the company has established and deepened partnerships with some of the region's most prominent healthcare institutions and government health authorities.

In the UAE, RLDatix signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi, formalizing a collaboration to launch a unified patient safety reporting taxonomy and automation initiative — a first of its kind in the region — aimed at standardizing safety practices across Abu Dhabi's healthcare ecosystem.

The company has also partnered with the Ministry of Defense Health Services across the region to deploy integrated patient safety and risk management platforms aligned with national healthcare transformation plans. Alongside these government partnerships, RLDatix has extended its reach into private sector healthcare in Saudi Arabia, supporting leading organizations including Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) in building world-class safety governance infrastructure.

RLDatix supports the full spectrum of healthcare safety and governance needs — spanning incident management, enterprise risk management, policy governance, compliance oversight, credentialing and accreditation — delivered through a unified system aligned with local regulatory requirements and national digital health strategies.

"Healthcare organizations across the Middle East are making a decisive shift toward data-driven safety, and we are proud to be their partner in that journey," said Saeed Abu-Hmeed, General Manager of RLDatix MEA. "These partnerships reflect our commitment to building safer, more resilient healthcare systems across the region, grounded in the same mission that has driven RLDatix for over two decades."

Impact in Action: Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare

The tangible impact of RLDatix's platform is exemplified by outcomes achieved at Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare, one of Saudi Arabia's leading integrated healthcare providers. Following enterprise-wide deployment of RLDatix's incident reporting and risk management platform — including advanced e-trigger capabilities integrated directly with JHAH's electronic health record system — the organization recorded significant improvements across safety culture, reporting transparency and clinical responsiveness:

A recent case study from a leading tertiary healthcare organization in the region demonstrates the tangible impact of RLDatix’s integrated patient safety and risk management platform.

Following full implementation of RLDatix’s incident reporting and risk management system, including advanced e-trigger capabilities integrated with the electronic health record, the organization recorded significant improvements in safety culture, reporting transparency, and operational responsiveness:

  • 16% increase in end-user engagement supporting the need to report patient safety events
  • Harm-related event reporting improved from 79% to 90%, reflecting greater transparency and a strengthened culture of safety
  • 21% increase in responses supporting open communication about errors
  • More than 24,000 safety-related reports submitted within a 12-month period, with advanced analytics enabling structured triage and categorization
  • Electronic submission and escalation of critical mortality-related cases enabling timely investigation and response

Leveraging RLDatix's performance analytics and data visualization capabilities, JHAH was able to identify variance patterns, analyze contributing factors and implement targeted process improvements — shifting from reactive reporting to proactive, data-driven risk mitigation.

“RLDatix’s e-trigger system is an efficient way to maximize reporting of incidents that may eventually turn out to be potential morbidities,” said Iyad K. Eid, Risk Management Director at Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare. "It has helped us optimize clinical excellence and enhance the safety culture among our staff.”

Advancing AI-Enabled Safety Intelligence Across the Region

As part of its regional strategy, RLDatix continues to introduce advanced platform capabilities tailored to Middle Eastern healthcare systems. Enhanced analytics and AI-enabled features allow healthcare leaders to move beyond retrospective analysis toward predictive risk insights, trend identification and real-time executive visibility — supporting national priorities centered on quality improvement, transparency and value-based care.

In alignment with national digital health ecosystems, RLDatix is also supporting patient experience initiatives through integration with widely adopted digital health applications across Saudi Arabia and Qatar, strengthening feedback mechanisms and connecting safety reporting frameworks with broader digital health journeys.
