Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Remedium Network, a Saudi-based carbon management and sustainability tech company, announced the closure of its $1.5 million pre-seed funding round led by Kaltaire Investments.

The investment will help Remedium Network expand its product development and advance its AI and machine learning (ML) capabilities to deliver more powerful analytics and context tooling to customers, the company revealed in a statement yesterday.

As part of its commitment to data sovereignty, Remedium Network plans to expand its compute assets to ensure client data remains secure and within the Kingdom. It will also roll out its Water, Waste, and Energy accounting modules to enhance organizational data processed by the platform.

Remedium Network’s next growth phase includes enhancing Remedium's Climate Intelligence to provide more accurate and more valuable insights, using physical risk modeling, forecast modeling, and document generation.

Fawaz Abu-Ghazaleh, CEO of Remedium Network, said: “The need for sustainability accounting is more relevant than ever. We are seeing a Saudi ecosystem that is addressing sustainability in board rooms, PPP's placing sustainability at the center of the conversation, and a society more aware of the impact of their purchasing choices. Building transparency and trust means every sustainability statement is backed by data and evidence. With investors like Kaltaire, Remedium is able to develop and deploy technology that does just that."

For his part, Khalid Kamal, director of Kaltaire Investments, commented: “Our continued collaboration with Remedium underscores our belief in their mission to advance environmental sustainability through technology. Remedium's cutting-edge AI software sets a new standard for the industry, and we are excited to partner with them as they execute their strategic growth initiatives."

Remedium empowers businesses to measure, manage, and reduce their carbon footprint through digitization, automation, and expert advisory services. Its proprietary software streamlines the emissions management process, reducing both complexity and cost while ensuring compliance with global sustainability and regulatory standards.
