
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Saudi Esports Federation (SEF) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with iDreamSky Technology Holdings Limited, the Chinese video game developer and distributer, to bolster the esports sector in Saudi Arabia.
Both parties will join hands to plan, develop, and execute potential growth plans in the sector, in collaboration with the Saudi Esports Academy, the company revealed in a press release.
Areas of collaboration include marketing, professional tournaments, education, and community development.
iDreamSky also plans to establish its Middle East base in Riyadh to launch Strinova, the first anime-style competitive shooting game in the world, during the fourth quarter of 2024.
Leveraging iDreamSky’s experience in game development and operation, SEF will jointly create attractive esports projects, cultivate and deliver high-quality talents for the esports industry, and promote the development of the gaming community and industry in Saudi Arabia.
