Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Deputy Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture (MEWA) inaugurated the Sahabah program with the main aim of supporting startups working in the Kingdom’s water sector.
Sahabah program is designed to focus on three main pillars: building an entrepreneurial community in the water sector, providing support and empowerment to startups working in this sector, and attracting more investments and innovative solutions that contribute to the sustainability of the water sector, as per a tweet on X by the Ministry.
Moreover, the ministry signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Saudi Water Authority that shall implement relevant initiatives to the Sahabah program.
Upon this MoU, the two parties shall cooperate to maximize economic impact as they work on creating a healthy and attractive environment for investors in the same sector, as well as facilitating the application and usage of supportive techs for water and agricultural entrepreneurs.
