
Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Company (Eviq) – a joint venture between the Public Investment Fund (PIF) and Saudi Electricity Company – announced plans to implement a new charging station at The Zone, Takhassusi Street, Riyadh.
This is part of EVIQ’s plan to deploy 5,000 chargers across 1,000 locations by 2030, according to a recent statement by the company.
EVIQ earlier announced the official opening of its first charging station in Jeddah, at Al Andalus Mall.
Featuring 3 fast chargers, each with a power output of 50kW, the station can serve up to 6 cars at the same time.
This milestone comes as part of EVIQ’s goal of expanding the EV infrastructure and providing accessible and reliable charging solutions for everyone across the Kingdom.
