Riyadh - Exclusive Sharikat Mubasher: The Saudi-based technology company IXMeta utilizes Metaverse technologies, such as augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR), to develop solutions that transform the training sector, Software Developer Shekha Alabdulsalam stated in an interview with Sharikat Mubasher on the sidelines of Biban 2024.
Alabdulsalam noted that Metaverse technologies help the company develop the training sector while enhancing efficiency and reducing costs, ultimately enhancing trainees’ experience.
She further clarified that IXMeta leverages artificial intelligence (AI) technology to provide virtual classrooms.
IXMeta was founded in 2021 to advance and enhance virtual learning and training in the region by investing in immersive technologies and innovating new ways for better teaching and training methods. It provides technology software from Metaverse, AR, and VR to e-learning systems for educational institutions and academies.
It uses AR technology to convert textbooks into 3D content material and harnesses Metaverse to provide interactive 3D simulations in a VR classroom for more than 50 students.
Biban 2024, the flagship event for startups and entrepreneurs in Saudi Arabia, takes place in Riyadh from 5 to 9 November with the participation of more than 1,350 local and international exhibitors, over 250 speakers, and more than 150 enablement entities from around the world.
