Riyadh – Exclusive Sharikat Mubasher: on the sidelines of the Biban 24 Conference, Afnan Ababtain, Director of Innovation & Entrepreneurship at the Ministry of Investment (MISA) told Sharikat Mubasher that MISA was keen on participating in this year’s edition of the Forum to provide an introduction of the services it offers to startups and innovators, on top of which is the ‘Entrepreneur License’.
Ababtain continued that this license helps facilitate the kickoff of startups to launch their businesses in the Kingdom and have access to the main incentives provided by the Ministry in all different sectors, either in biotechs, deep techs, or other sectors.
Ababtain also highlighted the role MISA plays in supporting innovative startups to penetrate and expand into the local market through a variety of services either provided by the Ministry or its partners in the public and private sectors.
Worth mentioning that Biban 2024, Saudi Arabia’s flagship event for startups and entrepreneurs, kicked off last Tuesday under the theme ‘Global Destination for Opportunities,’ with the participation of more than 1,350 local and international exhibitors, over 250 speakers, and more than 150 enablement entities from around the world.
