Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: The Hafar Al-Batin Chamber of Commerce, with the support of the Federation of Saudi Chambers, launched today the "Hafar Al-Batin Investment Forum 2025" at the headquarters of Hafar Al-Batin University, under the patronage of Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province.
Prince Saud bin Nayef emphasized that Hafr Al-Batin enjoys competitive investment advantages, making it an ideal destination for investors.
This aligns with the objectives of Vision 2030, as the province benefits from strong leadership support, infrastructure development, and its strategic location. These factors aim to attract investments and create job opportunities for Saudi nationals.
During the forum, seven investment agreements worth SAR 17 billion were signed to enhance development across various sectors. The event showcased investment opportunities in agriculture, healthcare, logistics, and infrastructure. It saw the participation of 24 governmental and private entities from 12 countries, with 19 speakers contributing to discussions in four-panel sessions.
Salman Al-Aqeel, Chairman of Hafr Al-Batin Chamber of Commerce, stated that the forum represents a turning point in the province’s development path.
The forum coincides with the launch of the Eastern Province Development Authority’s comprehensive plan for Hafar Al-Batin, which aims to attract investments worth SAR 47 billion, most of which are from the private sector, contributing about 11.3 billion riyals to the GDP and providing more than 60,000 new job opportunities.
