Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Margarete Schramboeck, Advisor to the Saudi Minister of Investment, emphasized Saudi Arabia’s intent to attract international investments into the Kingdom—particularly within the rapidly growing sports sector.
In a statement to Asharq Business on the sidelines of the Sports Investment Forum (SIF), Schramboeck described the newly launched Forum as “a major starting point” for advancing this strategy, highlighting its role in opening new opportunities for global partners and local innovators.
She added: “The economy is expanding, and with that comes the need to invest in vital infrastructure. We’re looking forward to see projects like cable cars manufacturing and the local production of sports equipment to support this growth.”
The remarks align with Saudi Arabia’s broader Vision 2030 goals, which include positioning the Kingdom as a hub for sports, tourism, and manufacturing while enhancing infrastructure and diversifying investment streams.
