
Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Bandar AlKhorayef, Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, concluded a high-level visit to Jakarta with a series of meetings aimed at boosting cooperation in the industrial and mining sectors.
AlKhorayef met with Indonesia’s Minister of State-Owned Enterprises, Erick Thohir, to discuss joint investment opportunities in petrochemicals, mining, and automotive manufacturing, according to a statement by the ministry.
The two sides emphasized the importance of industrial integration and economic collaboration.
The visit also included the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Saudi EXIM Bank and Exim Bank Indonesia to enhance trade financing and support cross-border investment in key sectors.
Thohir congratulated Saudi Arabia on securing the 2034 FIFA World Cup, affirming Indonesia’s support for the event. The visit reflects growing momentum in Saudi-Indonesian economic ties, as both nations push forward with diversification and industrial growth strategies.
