Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) is set to expand its footprint in Saudi Arabia with plans to open additional offices following the launch of its Riyadh branch in 2024, CEO Ben Farrell revealed.
In an interview with Al Eqtisadiah newspaper, Farrell revealed that Jeddah will host the next office, with further expansions to other cities underway.
He noted that the institute has already issued 50 licenses to several Saudi entities across various industries, enabling them to offer CIPS certification programs.
Farrell emphasized CIPS’s commitment to collaborating with local partners to advance procurement and supply chain practices, improve operational efficiency, and promote ethical standards in the sector.
The CIPS provides insights, information, and tools to enable members to develop their own best practices and help build capability within organizations.
Through the Riyadh office, the institute aims to support local members, students, and potential young professional Saudis, encourage networking, and create opportunities for members to learn, share, and unlearn from each other.
