Doha – Sharikat Mubasher: Qatari logistics startup ShipBee raised QR855,000 in a Pre-Seed funding round led by Doha-based GrowthX, with participation from two angel investors and QR150,000 in founder contributions.
The AI-powered digital logistics platform is now valued at QR3.57 million, marking a key milestone in Qatar’s growing innovation ecosystem, according to a recent press release.
Founded in March 2024 and registered in Qatar Free Zones, ShipBee offers a unified digital logistics marketplace, mobile apps, SaaS tools for enterprise shipping, and an express portal for international deliveries. The startup has already secured partnerships with Snoonu, Qatar Post, DHL, and China’s NEXX.
The funding was catalyzed by GrowthX, the investment firm led by Hamad Al-Hajri, founder of delivery giant Snoonu. ShipBee’s incubation under the Qatar Development Bank’s Mobility Incubator and the Digital Incubation Center, alongside its win at the QDB Innovation Hackathon, adds further credibility. Notably, Dr. Allan Villegas of QSTP has joined its board to support strategic growth.
With new capital and regional ambitions, ShipBee plans to scale its team, improve AI capabilities, and target enterprise contracts across the GCC.
