Tactful AI invests EGP 250mn to scale its operations, expand to Kingdom

The company aims to lead AI-powered CX transformation across the Middle East and Europe with locally developed technology

Cairo – Sharikat Mubasher: Tactful AI, a leading Egyptian innovator in artificial intelligence, announced it has invested over EGP 250 million to develop the region’s first end-to-end AI-powered customer experience platform, fully built in Egypt.

The milestone marks a major leap for the country's tech sector, with the startup now exporting its solutions to markets across the Middle East, the UK, and Europe, as per the company’s press release.

The company’s intelligent platform—designed to manage 100% of customer interactions across digital channels—has already helped clients boost digital revenue by up to 35% within months of deployment. With rising demand from sectors including telecom, government, and e-commerce, Tactful AI plans to ramp up investment, expand operations, and establish local support centers in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

Mohamed El-Masry, Tactful AI CEO and Co-founder, said the company’s broader goal is to position Egypt as a global exporter of AI technology, backed by strong R&D and local talent. With headquarters in Egypt and a UK base, Tactful AI is eyeing further growth through partnerships in Europe and the Gulf region.

Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi-based financing firm EDGE Finance Company announced it has obtained an official license from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) to provide consumer financing and financing for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Kingdom.The announcement was shared by the company on LinkedIn, describing the license as a new step toward expanding its role in Saudi Arabia’s financial services sector. The firm indicated that it aims to deliver innovative financial products designed to meet the evolving needs of customers while aligning with the goals of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.EDGE Finance also noted that it seeks to become an active contributor to the Kingdom’s national financing ecosystem by supporting businesses and entrepreneurs with tailored financial solutions. The company said it plans to focus on providing flexible and accessible financing services that help clients grow while enhancing overall financial accessibility in the Saudi market.
