Standard Chartered and Falak Investment Hub choose 10 standout startups from 135 applicants across 17 cities

Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Standard Chartered, in partnership with Falak Investment Hub, selected ten Saudi startups led by women to join the third cohort of its Women in Tech program.

The program aims to empower female entrepreneurs driving innovation in the Kingdom’s tech sector, with support from Monsha’at and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology’s CODE Center.

Chosen from 135 applicants across 17 Saudi cities and 13 industries, the startups represent diverse sectors such as AI, SaaS, health tech, and legal tech. This year’s selection process saw an 87.5% rise in applications compared to the previous round. The selected companies include Makan Design, which specializes in interior design using AI; Pixconvey, a smart technologies startup; Wittify, operating in SaaS and AI; Talents Arena, focused on HR tech and AI; and Decorist.ai, an AI-powered interior design platform. Also on the list are SDM, a health tech firm; Taawoni, which offers cooperative training management solutions via SaaS; Aya, an AI-driven e-commerce venture; Hakiem, a health tech company; and Adel, a legal tech startup.

Over an eight-week acceleration program, participants will receive specialized workshops, one-on-one mentorship, and direct investor access. The top three will share $45,000 in equity-free grants to fuel business growth. Since its launch in 2022, the Saudi Women in Tech program has supported over 20 companies and provided more than $100,000 in funding, in line with Vision 2030’s goals for economic inclusion and female empowerment.
